Dr. Abzug is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Dr. Abzug received his medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Drexel University College of Medicine, Hahnemann University Hospital. Dr. Abzug completed his fellowship in hand surgery at Thomas Johnson University Medical College and the Philadelphia Hand Center. He completed a fellowship in pediatric upper extremity and pediatric orthopaedics at the Shriners Hospital for Children of Philadelphia and St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Dr. Abzug has special interests in pediatric orthopaedics.
Dr. Abzug has completed specialty training in problems related to the entire pediatric upper extremity as well as fractures involving the whole body. He is actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows as part of his position at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. In addition, he teaches numerous physicians at the local, regional, and national levels. Dr. Abzug is also actively involved in numerous research projects pertaining to the pediatric upper extremity that he has presented locally, nationally, and internationally. He has published many of the projects in medical journals as well as authored multiple book chapters. Dr. Abzug is board certified in orthopaedic surgery.

Dr. Akabudike is a graduate of Cornell University Medical College. She completed her orthopaedic residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City and completed a Hand and Upper Extremity fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic / Case Western Reserve University Combined Fellowship program in Cleveland, OH.
Dr. Akabudike has authored scientific articles and textbook chapters. She is actively involved in research pertaining to wrist kinematics and arthritis; and tendon regeneration strategies.
She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the American Association of Hand Surgeons. She is board certified in orthopaedic surgery.

Dr. Eglseder is an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, the Chief of Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery, and an attending Orthopaedic Traumatologist at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. He received his medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and served his residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Eglseder also completed a fellowship in hand surgery at the University of Louisville.
