Kernan Physical Therapy at Woodlawn is a Medicare-certified, state-of-the-art, freestanding outpatient sports medicine and rehabilitation center, wholly owned by Kernan Hospital, one of the area's leading orthopaedic and rehabilitation hospitals, and affiliated with University of Maryland Medical System. The Center is conveniently located in Woodlawn (Baltimore County) and opened in 1993. This location allows for the development and expansion of Kernan Sports Medicine and the addition of high tech fitness and spine programs, as clinical adjuncts to traditional physical therapy.
The Center is staffed by an experienced team of licensed physical therapists, athletic trainers and exercise specialists who use advanced techniques and equipment to treat, rehabilitate and prevent orthopaedic and sports-related injuries.

We are open 6 days a week, 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 6:30-4:30 on Saturdays. We participate with most major insurances.
