Outpatient Therapy Services

Mild Brain Injury

We provide a program for patients who have sustained a concussion or mild brain injury due to sports, motor vehicle accidents, or other injuries. They are seen by speech/language pathologists and occupational therapists to focus on return to school or work, to coordinate services with school systems, and for patient/family education related to the effects of mild brain injury. Therapists refer patients for neuropsychological testing as needed. We welcome patients and their families to attend the Movin’Ahead Support Group which meets monthly for peer counseling, education and social support.

We require a physician’s referral and insurance authorization for speech or occupational therapy. For further information or to schedule an appointment, please call 410-448-6421.
