Kernan Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Presents Practitioners of the Year Awards

Baltimore, MD (April 5, 2010) - Medical practitioners of Kernan Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation hospital in Woodlawn were recognized by employees and staff at the annual Practitioners' Day luncheon, March 29 at Kernan.

The practitioners, nominated by staff, are recognized for excellence in patient-centered care, professionalism, and patient safety.

Awards and recognition were presented at the luncheon, held each year to honor Kernan's physicians, dentists and allied health professionals who include physician assistants, nurse anesthetists and nurse practitioners.

"I am pleased to present these awards to our honorees today," said Michael Jablonover, MD, President and CEO of Kernan. "Our awardees represent those who provide the highest level of quality patient care. Their commitment and dedication are extraordinary and so appreciated by our staff and patients."
