

Baltimore, MD (April 5, 2010) - Medical practitioners of Kernan Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation hospital in Woodlawn were recognized by employees and staff at the annual Practitioners' Day luncheon, March 29 at Kernan.
The practitioners, nominated by staff, are recognized for excellence in patient-centered care, professionalism, and patient safety.
Awards and recognition were presented at the luncheon, held each year to honor Kernan's physicians, dentists and allied health professionals who include physician assistants, nurse anesthetists and nurse practitioners.

Kernan also operates an outpatient center in Timonium that offers comprehensive orthopaedic services, physical therapy, and sports medicine for professional and college athletes as well as "weekend warriors."
