Free event October 18th in celebration of Physical Therapy Month.
Baltimore, MD (October 12, 2012) - Maryland's leading orthopaedic and rehabilitation hospital, is hosting a free foot and ankle prevention and injury management fair, Thursday, October 18, 2012, Noon to 2 p.m., in the Flynn Conference Center.
"Oh My Aching Feet" is sponsored by the hospital's Physical Therapists, in celebration of Physical Therapy month. Meet physical therapy staff and learn about how physical therapists and physical therapy assistants can help prevent injuries through participation at various activities at learning stations. These include: Put Your Best Foot Forward - learn how to avoid ankle injuries during walking and running; Jumping Ahead After Ankle Surgery - learn techniques to strengthen your ankle; Feet Hurt? - learn simple ways to manage common foot injuries; Shoes? - learn about proper footwear.
