Parent Tips for Detecting Scoliosis
Idiopathic scoliosis may go unnoticed in a child because it is rarely painful.
Parents should watch for the following symptoms:
- Uneven shoulders/Leaning to one side

Prominent shoulder blade(s)

Uneven waistline

Elevated or uneven hips

Curving spine that looks like an "S" or "C" when
viewed from behind
