University of Maryland Orthopaedics' Shoulder and Elbow Program is recognized as a leader in patient care. To enhance patients' mobility, diminish pain, increase function and independence and improve their quality of life, our team creates and utilizes the latest advances in shoulder and elbow diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation.

UM Orthopaedics' Shoulder and Elbow Program offers affiliated occupational and physical therapists (Kernan Physical Therapy) specially trained in rehabilitation of the shoulder and elbow before and after surgical reconstruction. Their focused efforts allow our elite level athletes, weekend warriors and entire patient population to reach their goals.
