Total Joint Replacement
Total Hip and Knee Joint Replacement Class
When:
The same date of your pre-testing. Usually
held on Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m.
Where:
The Total Joint classroom
Who:
Hosted by the Total Joint Coordinator
and the Rehabilitation Department
Why:
The class will review information you
need prior to your surgery. We will
provide you with educational materials,
answer questions, review your hospital
course, and most importantly teach you
how to prepare for your rehabilitation
and recovery after surgery. The class will
take approximately one hour to complete.
What else:
You (the patient) will also receive a $6.00 lunch voucher
coupon to enjoy a meal at the Kernan Terrace Café after
the class. Bring your family member with you so they can join in on
the class and learn all about your total joint experience
