Outpatient Therapies at Kernan Hospital
Wheelchair Seating Clinic
We hold this special clinic in the Outpatient Physical Therpay Department to provide evaluation and recommendations for a proper seating system. The therapist evaluates the patient and with the seating specialist, determines the patient's appropriate recommendations.
A physician or therapist generally refers patients to this Clinic. However, in some instances, patients will refer themselves. We have easy access to the building, with curbside drop-off, and wheelchairs for use at the front entrance.
Please note that we require a physician’s order and insurance authorization for wheelchair and seating evaluation.
