Kernan Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation's Visitor Policy is now restricting visiting for those under the age of 18 on the in-patient units.
This is to acknowledge the defined influenza (flu) season by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), which officially started October 3, 2010. These guidelines will be in effect until late March 2011, at which time the CDC will officially end flu season.
Patients are permitted to visit anyone in the Grand Hall. If you feel as though you are getting ill, please stay at home, take care of yourself and then return to visit.
Children cannot be left unattended in the lobby while adults go to the units to visit family or friends.
