Kernan Physical Therapy at Woodlawn

Kernan Physical Therapy at Woodlawn is a Medicare-certified, state-of-the-art, freestanding outpatient sports medicine and rehabilitation center, wholly owned by Kernan Hospital, one of the area's leading orthopaedic and rehabilitation hospitals, and affiliated with the University of Maryland Medical System.

The center, which opened in 1993, is conveniently located in Woodlawn (Baltimore County). This location allows for the development and expansion of Kernan Sports Medicine and the addition of high-tech fitness and spine programs as clinical adjuncts to traditional physical therapy.

The center is staffed by an experienced team of licensed physical therapists and athletic trainers who use advanced techniques and equipment to treat, rehabilitate and prevent orthopaedic and sports-related injuries.

Testing and Therapy Equipment

More than 8,000 square feet of gym and treatment space.
State-of-the-art clinical equipment designed to facilitate early return to sports activities, including Biodex and Cybex multi-axial exercise equipment.

Specialty Areas:

We are open 6 days a week, 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 6:00a.m.to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays. We participate with most major insurances.
