Marc C. Hochberg, M.D., M.P.H. Dr. Hochberg is an internationally known expert on arthritis, especially in the area of osteoarthritis. He's a Professor of Medicine and Head of the Division of Rheumatology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and is Head of Rheumatology at Kernan Hospital. He received his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University, and completed both a residency and fellowship (in connective tissue diseases) at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

His areas of special interest include osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. He is board certified in both rheumatology and internal medicine.

Raymond H. Flores, M.D. Dr. Flores is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and is the Director of the Rheumatology Fellowship Program. He received his medical degree from Harvard University, and completed both a residency (internal medicine) and fellowship (rheumatology) at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Jamal A. Mikdashi, M.D. Dr. Mikdashi is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from American University in Beirut. He then completed a residency (internal medicine) at Georgetown University and a fellowship (rheumatology) at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

His areas of special interest include general rheumatology and fibromyalgia. He is board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine.

Violeta Rus, M.D., Ph.D. Dr. Rus is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. After receiving her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Romania, she completed a residency (medicine) at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore and a fellowship (rheumatology) at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

Her areas of special interest include lupus erythematosis. She is board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine.
