Health Careers Exploration Shadow Day

Kernan Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation offers a unique opportunity for students (grades 10-12) who are considering a career in Occupational, Physical, Recreational Therapy and/or Speech Language Pathology as well as Certified Athletic Training to experience a “day in the life” of a therapist or trainer at Kernan.

Students witness firsthand the work environment, occupational skills in practice, the value of professional training and potential career options.

Job shadowing is designed to help students gain a better understanding of the knowledge and responsibilities related to the career they are interested in and assist them with making decisions for the future.
