We hold this special clinic in the Outpatient Ortho & Neuro Physical Therapy Departments to provide patients without proper seating for their wheelchairs. The physical therapist evaluates the patient first and then, with the seating specialist, determines the patient’s special seating needs and makes recommendations.
A physician or therapist generally refers patients to this Clinic. However, in some instances, patients will refer themselves. We have easy access to the building, with curbside drop-off, extra wheelchairs and scooters for use at the front entrance.
